Lunch Run
Lunchtime.
We decided to hit our favorite barbecue joint - a high-class scarfing establishment called "Piggin' Out". Piggin' Out is considered to be one of the best barbecue joints in town. Their ribs, like sex on a plate. Their brisket, without equal. Their sauces, and rubs, ambrosia.
P.O. is only a couple miles from the house, but it was such a nice day - warm, sunny -that a Canyon Drive, first, seemed like a better idea. A much better idea. An Excellent Idea.

Adventures in Tifosiland
Don't sports car guys get a little ...... snooty .... at times?
Ron was asking about my experiences hanging out with Sports Car Guys of various kinds. He had heard, somewhere, that Porsche Guys can be particularly snobbish. I haven't the faintest idea where he heard THAT ........ but I was quick to assure him that amongst Porsche Guys you had a broad spectrum personalities running from snob to salt-of-the-earth.
Then Ron asked about Ferrari.

Homage: Tushues
Sometimes you just gotta go.
On the drives I like to take, public restrooms aren't all that common. Kinda scarce.
When you do find a place to go, something else is often found to be scarce: toilet
paper.

Where has it gone, you might ask? Who knows? Stolen maybe ......

Miata
I love sports cars. I really do.
It's almost a Hollywood cliche - 1964 - a cold, damp, cloudy Minnesota autumn Sunday and a young man, barely in his teens stands in a used car lot, looking at a robin-egg blue, Jaguar XK140. His life changes in an instant, and from that moment .......
Sound's kinda corny, doesn't it?
